French Higher Education system in the Academic Ranking of World Universities

As the results of the Academic Ranking of World's Universities from Jiao Tong University of Shanghai, have finally been released, it is with a great pride that France's institutions discovered the 3rd position of the country in the global ranking for the 5th consecutive year. With no less than 25 universities in the list of the world's 1 000 best universities, 4 of which appearing in the top 100, France kept its position on the podium proving, once more, the excellency of its Higher Education system and testifying of the great efforts put by the Ministry of Higher Education & Research into its improvement.

The University of Paris-Saclay, for instance, made its way up to the 12th position, becoming the best-ever ranked French university !

As for the other institutions that have been awarded, they can be found all across France's regions.

For the French Ministrer of higher Education, H.E Sylvie Retailleau, "by recognizing insitutions all across France, the ARWU enhances the richness of the French academic landscape and its diverse shapes."
